Welcome

Face Polaroid

My name is Anthony, and welcome to Apollo’s Radio. This blog is going to be a somewhat humorous blog dedicated to two of my favorite things, pop music and fashion. From interviews, performances, singles, and albums this blog will critique and highlight some of the most exciting topics happening in the pop music world. Though this blog predominantly focuses on music, posts about men’s fashion will be seen from time to time regarding some of the hottest trends I see in the Big Apple.

But before getting into all of it, let me tell you a little bit of myself:

I was born in New Jersey and I currently study Communications and Media at Fordham University in New York City. Aside from obsessing over music, I actually have been writing songs since I was fourteen years old– even though I have no idea how to play an instrument. My dream is to have a show much in the vein of Fashion Police (R.I.P. Joan), but instead it would critique music in a similar manner. So, I’d like to think of this blog as a sort of ~stepping stone~ into that. But, I’m taking it all in day by day and just enjoying the ride.

Some little tidbits about me~

  • HATE KETCHUP
  • Love the Backstreet Boys and Spice Girls (90s 4ever)
  • Once saw Nicole Scherzinger on the streets and she refused to take a picture with me.
  • At my funeral I want the lyrics of “Handle Me” by Robyn to be recited by one of my close friends and I want a live rendition of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” by Israel Kamakawiwo’ole to be played as my casket floats off into the sunset in the Caribbean ocean- because that is the way my funeral WILL happen. Life is pretty swell, and I’m excited to get this ball rolling.
